Julia first started working for CELFS in 2013 on the PS6 and is now a full-time, permanent member of staff. Since then she has also taught on the PS10, in-sessional Academic Language and Literacy (ALL) courses, the International Graduate Programme (IGP), the International Foundation Programme (IFP) and Research, English, and Academic Literacy (REAL). She has a background in ELT as well as English Literature and Linguistics.
Her research interests include the role of non-native speaker teachers in the EAP classroom and the intercultural experience of students and tutors in HE. Her other blog post is on differentiation in the classroom.
