BALEAP PIM ELTC Sheffield – Process and Practice in EAP

On Saturday 14 November, BALEAP (British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes) held a PIM (Professional Issues Meeting) on the subject of ‘Process and Practice in EAP’.


From CELFS, Maxine Gillway, Alan Lockett and Hannah Gurr presented, and Lisa Hanson also attended.

Maxine’s talk was entitled ‘Teacher feedback practice: does the process have an impact on the product?’

Alan and Hannah spoke about ‘Transitional pedagogy: Processes and routines for learning’

The plenary speakers were Zoltán DörnyeiDavid Hyatt and Diane Schmitt.
